The Bob and Brian Radiothon on Apr. 13-14 Backs MACC

Bob and Brian are two of Milwaukee’s beloved morning drive radio personalities. They are institutions in Milwaukee Radio and as such have been great friends of the MACC Fund and the children with cancer and blood disorders. They host a Plane Pull, a run, a great golf outing, the annual “Best of Bob and Brian” CD and their signature Bob and Brian Radiothon.

They will be hosting the Radiothon for two days from the break of day til nearly dusk. This annual rite of spring will take place on Wednesday and Thursday, April 13 and 14. Area folks can tune in to THE HOG at 102.9 FM starting Wednesday morning at 5:30. You can also enjoy the fun at http://www.1029thehog.com

We promise it will be worth your while since you are never quite sure what Bob and Brian will say on a normal day. That is what makes them so entertaining and enjoyable to listen to. For the Radiothon, the entertainment moves up a few notches since they are scheduled to be talking with Hall of Famers Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Robin Yount, the beloved Olympic speed skating Gold Medalists Bonnie Blair and Dan Jansen, Sweet 16 coaches Bo Ryan from UW and Buzz Williams from Marquette, Keith Tozer of the 5-time champion Milwaukee Wave, MACC Fund co-founder and president Jon McGlocklin and his television broadcast partner for 25 years, Jim Paschke. And this is just part of the list! There will also be a wide array of auction items to capture your bidding interests from the sports world and far beyond.

We hope you will make a date to join in the fun. The MACC Fund is indebted to Bob and Brian for this incredible commitment of time – and certainly talent – to help the children. The entire HOG team gets involved as well so the thanks are extended to them as well as the Radiothon’s many generous donors and sponsors. We hope will join in so we can add you to the list as well.
